Anchal believes design can change lives.
Anchal is a non-profit social enterprise that uses design and collaboration to provide economic opportunities for marginalized women through a holistic program, the creation of sustainable products, and access to the global market. Anchal artisans uplift themselves from the commercial sex trade, domestic violence, or poverty by crafting trendsetting products in sustainable methods that create financial independence and safety for themselves and their children.
A New Initiative: Train & Equip Artisans to Make Children's Apparel
Anchal is proud to announce a new initiative - a production unit solely focused on creating children’s apparel!
By launching this initiative, Anchal will provide artisans with extensive new skills training and industry-standard machinery required to create safe and high-quality tested textile products.
This opportunity will enhance their knowledge, skills, and economic stability, supporting their journey to break free from cycles of exploitation, abuse, and systemic poverty.
Why Your Support Matters:
Creating a children’s collection involves specialized training and new essential equipment in order to meet government safety regulations and quality standards. With your help, we can provide: specialized training for 4 new women and 18 current project assistants, quality control training workshops for 180 artisans, a button attachment machine, a buttonhole machine, and new sewing machines and sergers.
Ways You Can Give:
$25 - Help purchase patterning material for children’s products
$50 - Sponsor Child Safety Regulations (CPSIA) training for 1 woman
$100 - Sponsor Quality Control workshop for 10 artisans
$250 - Sponsor Patterning & Cutting workshop with Master Trainer or for 1 woman
$500 - Purchase half of a specialized sewing machine
$750 - Purchase a button attachment machine
$1,200 - Sponsor 1 artisan for 1 year
Join Us in Making a Lasting Impact:
Your generosity will directly support the necessary training and equipment need for this new initiative, empowering Anchal artisans to thrive. Together, we can support women in building a brighter future for themselves and future generations.
