JHS Alumni Association . . .  Continuing the Charger Legacy!

It is with great pride that the JHS Alumni Association continues to build our legacy that was started when the "new" JHS opened in the fall of 1966. Facilities, programs, staff, and students have all changed with the times, but our Charger spirit carries on as we head into the future with Jeffersontown High School!

In the past the alumni association has supported JHS students, staff, and alumni in a variety of ways. We have repurposed storage space into a 300-seat auditorium, redesigned the entrance to the football field, established the JHS Alumni Hall of Fame, installed a new baseball scoreboard, donated computers for classrooms, added new flooring to the front office, refurbished the tennis courts, supported class projects, sponsored alumni events, awarded scholarships for seniors, and more!

Now, we are starting to really DREAM BIG!! Following an announcement from JCPS that JHS will be receiving a new football field and track, the alumni association is endeavoring to raise funds to build a brand-new athletic complex at the football stadium - complete with new restrooms and concession stands and whatever else it takes to make our JHS athletic facilities the best in the state! 

To make these dreams come true, we need YOUR help! We are counting on donations from alumni and community members to help us upgrade our athletic complex as we continue to enhance building facilities and programs at JHS, strengthen student and staff opportunities, and keep alumni active and involved in our school community. Let's DREAM BIG with a goal of $20,000!

Who We Are

The Jeffersontown High School Alumni Association enlists alumni and community members to support and enhance the "Charger experience" at JHS. Ongoing projects include updating and refurbishing of various sports facilities at the high school, providing scholarships for seniors and giving monetary support to JHS clubs and organizations. Distinguished alumni and faculty who have made a significant impact in our community are celebrated at our annual Hall of Fame event. All donations received by the alumni association go to directly support these special projects, scholarships and events for JHS students, faculty and alumni.
