The Jefferson Jubilee - Open Doors to Student Success! 

The Jefferson Foundation supports the educational journey of students at Jefferson Community & Technical College.  Scholarships and student support initiatives provide the resources necessary to help students overcome barriers to achieving their academic goals.  Through programs like the Jefferson Jubilee, the Jefferson Foundation helps Jefferson Community & Technical College be the open door to education and opportunity in our community!

Scholarships and student success initiatives are critically important because they address the unique needs of Jefferson’s student population. Many students who attend Jefferson are the first in their families to go to college, most work at least part-time, and 62% qualify for Federal Pell Grants. Others are adult students, who have been away from the rigors of study and homework for a while. Many balance jobs and childcare. Funds raised through the Jefferson Jubilee support programs and projects that help students overcome barriers to success these circumstances can create. 

The Jefferson Jubilee initiative has had a significant impact

• Over 300 Scholarships Awarded
• Over $1.1 million in Scholarship Funding allocated
• Over $300,000 in Student Support Initiatives Funded - including support for the The Hub (food pantry and student resource center) and the Student Emergency Fund
