The Frazier History Museum is where the world meets Kentucky.

Our mission is to ignite the human spirit with thoughtfully crafted stories that explore who we are, and our connection to the future. As our founder, Owsley Brown Frazier said,

"by reconnecting with our past, we can renew a sense of who we are, what we stand for, and where we are headed."

As Kentucky's largest history museum, we are an award-winning institution that shares the diverse people, places, and stories that make us who we are. History belongs to everyone, so we want people of all backgrounds and ages to see themselves in the stories we tell. To feel welcome and to participate in conversations that illuminate our common ground and bridge our divides.

Every donation, whether $10 or $100, makes a difference.

  • $10 sponsors a Title 1 student or long-term care resident to visit the museum.
  • $20 supports free field trips and in-school outreach sessions.
  • $50 supports Stories in Mind by bringing in artists and facilitators to reach more people.
  • $100 supports our educational exhibits and permanent collection so we can continue to preserve & present Kentucky's history.

We value our community and its members; we cannot achieve our vision and goals without your support! We are finding new ways to continue to support and lift up our community, and we hope you will join us in our efforts by donating today.

Thank you!
