Who We Are

A home and a future for more than 70 years - Boys & Girls Haven is a private non-profit agency supporting youth and families in Kentucky through a multifaceted and comprehensive continuum of care. We are trauma-informed caretakers providing six core services - Residential Therapeutic Foster Care, In-Home Therapeutic Foster Care, Transitional Living Programs, Independence Readiness, Haven Family Counseling Services, and Animal-Assisted Therapy. Our mission is to shelter, heal, and teach children and young adults to become resilient members of our community through an integrated spectrum of care. Our vision is to be a definitive leader and innovator in social services, and to strengthen and support children, young adults and families.

Your Donation Will Change a Life.

This year, we want to exceed our goal of $50,000 - to go towards our child care and family counseling services in Kentucky. When you participate in Give For Good, your donation will provide resources for our children so that they can heal and thrive. 

• $5,000 will fund the improvement of facilities on the Boys & Girls Haven campus where foster children live, learn, and play. 
• $1,500 will cover training costs for parents who will provide a home & a future for foster children. 
• $1,000 will furnish an apartment for a young adult in the independent living program. 
• $700 will cover a child’s back-to-school shopping. $200 will pay for new clothes for a foster child. 
• $50 will cover one therapy session.
