ABOUT US

BLUE RIDGE ANIMAL RESCUE & SANCTUARY is a registered 501(c)(3) charity located in Goshen, KY and guided by compassion, integrity and the desire to help mistreated and unwanted animals. We are an ALL VOLUNTEER, small, foster-based rescue whose main concentration is the rescue of canines, felines and rabbits! 

Blue Ridge Animal Rescue & Sanctuary works to save animals in deep rural areas throughout Kentucky and Eastern TN where the need is greatest and assistance is hard to come by. Whether it's pulling from a full shelter or helping desperate families, we try to save as many as possible!

100% of your tax deductible donation today goes towards the medical treatment, emotional support, nutrition and behavioral training of the animals in our care to get them ready for a successful adoption with a loving family! We stress the importance of placing a companion animal with the appropriate fit family! This fit matches the pet's needs AND the desires of the adoptive family as well! A GOOD FIT is a FOREVER FIT! 

COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE

There are many times that we are asked to help take in animals but the family also needs additional assistance with medical care of existing animals on the property or they have a need for food or preventatives. We do what we can to spay/neuter any animals left on the property to keep overpopulation at bay and help with other needs they may have. Blue Ridge Animal Rescue & Sanctuary aims to educate and assist the people in these rural areas to create a safer/healthier environment for domestic animals remaining in their care.  

We love what we do and make sure all animals in our care are treated like family! We are grateful for your support and your generous giving helps our animals go from a life of neglect, to a life full of love!
