Pathlight International Inc

The mission of PathLight International is to amplify hope for at-risk students, teachers, and local communities by providing educational opportunities that integrate faith and learning. The name of the organization reflects the mission: PathLight International illuminates an alternative path for at­‐risk youth, helping them successfully navigate their academic, social and spiritual journeys.  It is a ministry that cares for the heart, mind and soul of a child — and those who teach them and the communities within which they live.

In Christ “are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). PathLight seeks to instill this desire for wisdom (faith) and knowledge (learning) into those who live in places where educational systems are weak, where poverty and oppression is the norm, and where children and families are simply trying to stay alive.

When integrating faith and learning, education becomes more than the mere delivery of content; it’s the art of seeing all of life as God sees it, of drawing closer to him in how we think, what we know, and how we live.  We believe the integration of faith and learning helps people see the world through the eyes of Christ, and helps young people, teachers, and entire communities become leaders of integrity, character, and purpose.
