Green Hill Therapy

At Green Hill Therapy, we are dedicated to helping children aged 0-21 reach their full potential through proven, playful intervention. We are a nonprofit pediatric outpatient therapy clinic located on a 10-acre farm in east Louisville. 

Our therapy sessions combine Hippotherapy, a highly specialized treatment approach, with more traditionally clinic-based therapy in order to maximize the therapeutic impact and produce meaningful, functional outcomes. With Hippotherapy, our licensed therapists utilize the horse’s movement, in addition to other various therapy tools, to address each child’s unique sensory, physical, cognitive and behavioral needs.

Aquatherapy is used in conjunction with other traditional therapies to enhance the child’s functional abilities and is an excellent supplement to land-based occupational therapy and/or physical therapy.

 Green Hill helps children make significant progress toward their personalized therapy goals, whether it's taking their first steps or developing the ability to play and interact with friends and families. Our children come to play, and they leave with the abilities and confidence to do so

Who We Are

Green Hill Therapy has been changing the lives of children with special needs harnessing the medically proven power of hippotherapy (horse therapy) for 19 years. ALL of our therapists are licensed occupational and physical therapists who utilize the horse as a dynamic tool to improve sensory and neuro motor outcomes in children with who are on the autism spectrum, have Cerebral Palsy, Spina bifida, Downs syndrome and a host of other medical challenges.
We are supported by our community, grants, individual donors and local businesses who believe in what we do and want to help nearly 230 children this year make rapid progress towards their goals. Thank you for your support and come and see us sometime to learn more!
